Kaede is a cheerful and energetic eighth grader. When it comes to boys, however, she is hopelessly shy. One day, on her way home from school, Kaede walks into a mysterious shop and buys a colorful cocoa mug. Ichigo Momomiya expected her date with her crush, Masaya Aoyama, to have a more romantic ending than her falling asleep after she sees a vision of a cat entering her body. Things get even stranger when, the next day, she begins displaying cat-like behaviors such as an intense craving for fish. When Masaya is attacked by a monster, she discovers that she is able to transform into the cat-eared magical girl, Mew Ichigo. After she saves Masaya, two researchers named Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka approach her and reveal they had injected her with Iriomote Cat DNA in order to create a magical girl that can save the world from aliens. Ichigo is tasked with fighting these monsters, but saving the world proves to be just too much for Ichigo to handle by herself. Fortunately, she learns that there are four other girls just like her, and now, Ichigo must find them quickly before the aliens completely take over the planet.

Saikano (Dub)
Shuuji and Chise are third year students at a high school in Hokkaido. The shy Chise is finally confessing to Shuuji, and finally the two of them are starting to exchange diary awkwardly. One day, Shuuji tries to escape from a sudden enemy air raid on Sapporo. While desperately escaping from the air raid, Shuuji sees a scene that he could not forget for his life. He sees Chise, with a huge weapon looking as if it was part of her hand, shooting the enemy fighters down one by one. Apparently, Chise is the ultimate weapon with destructive power which is important for the war.
SaiKano
Shuji and Chise are two Hokkaido high school students barely starting a relationship with each other. Then, with no warning, a squadron of bombers from an unknown country destroy the city of Sapporo. All hope is lost when suddenly, the bombers are destroyed by a small red light floating across the sky. At this point, Shuji finds out that the one responsible for eliminating the enemy forces is Chise, who reveals herself as a cyborg engineered for mass-destruction.
Rizelmine
When my friend recommended this to me I thought to myself "well, she's usually pretty good when it comes to anime, maybe I'll give Rizelmine a little shot." I'm not going to trust my friend so easily again. Story: What story? Each episode is only 14 minutes long which came as a shock, but the entire series is 26 episodes long. Now if you convert that to 24 minute episodes it's only about 18. The story is really....annoying, and they only really try to build on it during the second half of the anime. The story seems forced and contrived, and doesn't seem to have any point at all except to show that the writers ran out of ways for Tomonori to throw Rizel at a wall/post/house. Art: I wasn't impressed by the art, mind you I might have just have had low quality videos. The art doesn't detract from the anime, because the anime doesn't really have anything going for it. They never really try to do anything with it either, it's the same art the entire way through, which is slightly dissapointing. There's also some scenes where they tried to give the artist some freedoms to do something really cool, but the artists don't leap at the chance. There are also explosions almost every episode, and they're incredibly pink, which is also really irritating. Sound: Terrible. The only saving grace in the sound is the opening music. Even the opening song is terrible, but I still found myself listening to it almost every other episode. Character: Tomonori......He likes older women, and he's incredibly abusive. Oh...and stubborn....and stupid. Those are all of his amazing character traits. Rizel is clumsy, annoying, persistant, and loves to cry. When you add them together you get comedy...right? For the first couple episodes having Rizel being flung into walls and other things seems kind of entertaining...After episode 4 it gets REALLY old incredibly quickly. And that's pretty much all the humor, they try to do some other tricks, but that's it. Even Papa A, B, and C get old and stale. There's nothing fun about these characters, They never really grow unless they're forced to, which is slightly dissapointing. Enjoyment: I didn't like this anime at all. In the first episode I thought it was incredible, I was really enjoying it. After the fourth I was hoping they were going to switch it up a little. When they finally introduce other characters and a story I was already overwhelmingly bored with it all. Even the fact that it's 14 minutes per episode doesn't save it. A full 26 episodes long (which is supposed to be 2 seasons) still makes it way too long. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Not even ecchi fans who can't watch anything with a story. I'm pretty sure this would bore even them. Even if you've finished an incredibly draining series I wouldn't ask anyone to watch this.
RahXephon (Dub)
In the year 2012 Japan was invaded by the Mu. Human-like beings from another dimension with blue blood. In the year 2015 Tokyo is attacked by invaders, who are repelled by a humanoid weapon called a Dolem. During the chaos, Ayato Kamina meets Reika Mishima, a classmate. During that same day, he is attacked by government officials but a woman named Haruka comes to his rescue, informing him that she was sent to get him by the Organization TERRA, and that Tokyo had been sealed in a time rift where time flows one third as fast as the outside world. He flees from Haruka onto a train where he sees Reika once more. Arriving at the Room of Rah, he follows her to a tremendous egg where the Dolem RahXephon is hatched from, and upon her singing his mother appears atop the Dolem that had stopped the TERRA Invasion. In the battle Ayato's mother is injured, and Ayato flees Tokyo Jupiter with Haruka.

Although the background story of the anime looks serious, it's actually a high-school-love-comedy genre.

With those wishes in mind, she continues to work hard with her ballet lessons. But Mytho has a very beautiful, smart girlfriend, Rue, who is even better than him at dance. There's a senior in her school who she admires and likes but just looking at him alone already requires a lot of effort on her part, let alone...Her life experiences are being depicted by the rhythm of the tunes she plays with her piano, such as happy times being with friends and family, not to mention love of course.
