Vandread The First Stage (season one) was immediately followed up by this OVA. This OVA, also known as Vandread Taidouhen Stage (The Movement Stage) was a recap of the first 13 episodes with additional footage. So, Vandread Taidouhen is not really a bridge between Vandread The First Stage and Vandread The Second Stage (season two). InuYasha (Dub)
Based on the Shogakukan award-winning manga of the same name, InuYasha follows Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well on the grounds of her family's Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan's violent Sengoku period with the demon's true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her. After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome enlists the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Joining Kagome and Inuyasha on their quest are the orphan fox-demon Shippo, the intelligent monk Miroku, and the lethal demon slayer Sango. Together, they must set aside their differences and work together to find the power granting shards spread across feudal Japan and deal with the threats that arise.
Inuyasha
Kagome leads a fairly normal life, in spite of her weird family. Her house is a thousand-year-old Japanese temple, and her grandfather talks about the history of the house endlessly. Legend has it that the old well on the temple grounds keeps a vicious ancient monster at bay; Kagome never believed those legends, until now. The well opens up and sucked Kagome inside transporting her to an ancient time of enchanted forests and giant demons. Kagome is soon confronted by her odd resemblance to Kikyou, the girl who controlled the magical Shikon no Tama talisman and imprisoned the legendary half-demon InuYasha. Upon entering this fantasy world, Kagome is attacked by a demon hunting the Shikon no Tama; she unwittingly releases InuYasha from his imprisonment, only to find that he's no hero.

The story takes place in the future where war machines from evil mechanical alien empire Garufa finally reaches Earth. In order to protect earth, an Earth defense organization called GEAR (Guard Earth and Advanced Reconnaissance) is formed. Fooly Cooly
Naota is a normal Japanese 6th grade boy (although a little cynical), but when his older brother leaves for America to play baseball, his brother leaves his homeless 17 year old girlfriend Mamimi behind. Mamimi is sending mixed signals and advances to Naota, and he doesn’t know what to do about her. But to make matters worse, Naota’s world is totally turned upside down when he is run over by a woman on a Vespa. During their first encounter, she hits him over the head with her guitar, which then causes a horn to grow out of his forehead. She calls herself “Haruko” and her presence changes Naota’s life to even further insanity.

The second season of Digimon begins three years after the end of the second movie. Most of the original Chosen have moved on in life, but still keep the memories of the last summer in their hearts Taichi and Yamato are in middle school now, as well as Koushiro and Sora. Jou is writing his high school entrance exams, and Mimi's moved to America. Still, Takeru and Hikari continue their lives, and meet some new friends at school. These new friends are dragged into something beyond their understanding as the original Destined recieve a distress call from the digital world about a new enemy: a human boy who is wreaking havok in the Digital World, calling himself the Digimon Kaizer. He's devised a method of controlling Digimon's minds, and has also set up a system of Black Spires, which prevent Digimon from Evolving.Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori soon find that they, too, are DigiDestined, with their own Digimon partners and D3 devices, that allow their partners to evolve even within the influence of the black spires. After Hikari and Takeru find their D3's, they form a great team, and set out to rid the Digital World of the Digimon Kaizer's rule.

During this process the alien comes to 'life' and the lab is subsequently destroyed leaving Takuto the only survivor and the alien disappearing into the wilderness. While Frank roams the wilderness he meets Hattie, an emotionally distressed young girl whose parents are killed in the first 'close encounter' war. Oddly enough she is able to communicate with Frank and soon after they are taken into custody by a secret agency known only as 'Funeral'. Meanwhile, Takuto wakes up in a hospital bed with his life in shambles, and his face disfigured. Motivated by vengeance and heart break, Takuto accepts an offer from the mysterious 'Mr. X' and receives a new identity as a ranking Funeral officer named Ryu Soma.
